My family of 3 stayed in Akasaka Excel for 5 nights in Sept 2010 and was pleased with the size of room (moderate twin) and location. The hotel was directly infront of the subway and it was very convenient for travelling all over tokyo. Best part of it was the food street across the road which opens till late and had fantastic sushi, ramen, udon... we were spoilt for choice and especially after a long day sightseeing and shopping, we normally get take-aways and have them in our hotel room.
