The shuttle bus to and from the station was very good. The location of the hotel was a little far from the major shopping areas for us, but good to get to the Niji Castle and a 20 minute walk to the Imperial Castle.

The roof garden has spectacular 360-degree views of the city and surrounding mountains and even from the lobby guests can look out onto a pretty scene: a delicate waterfall cascading into a courtyard pond.
