For what it was, a relatively inexpensive, small but efficient room in which everything worked, less than 10 minutes' walk from the JT line, it was good value, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My one complaint is that you should not allow smoking on a floor with non-smoking rooms. My room, #921, was near the elevator, and thus near an ashtray at which people went out to smoke. Smoke wafted into my room on a regular basis. When I told the staff at reception, they suggested they could spray an aerosol in my room. That wouldn't have removed the hazards of second-hand smoke -- it would just have masked the scent. It would be a service to your non-smoking guests to have at least one floor, preferably more, that is/are completely non-smoking.

It's not easy to find a comfortable affordable hotel in Tokyo but Chisun Hotel Hamamatsucho Tokyo fits the ticket. Not fancy but orderly and clean. Very nice breakfast as well. Convenient to trains. I'd happily stay again.

The Hotel was very convenient to the bus Station and Station. I felt safe returning to the Hotel after a Tour. The reception Staff were very helpful giving me directions to a pick up point to join a tour, printing me off a map. My room was always clean and refreshed each day. My luggage was stored for me while i was away on tour. I would not hesitate to recommend The Chisum Hotel
