The property is not the most modern, but the location and the people make all the difference. Service is very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Our family stayed there during our recent holiday in Tokyo.
The staff were very helpful, esp the concierge.
We arrived early and the rooms were not ready. However , when we finally checked-in later , procedure was very fast & pleasantly surprised that our luggage have been sent up to the rooms already.

Location is very convenient with 2 subway stations and a JR rail station within walking distance. Taxi fare from JR station was only 660 Y .. useful if you have heavy luggage & young children !


Would certainly recommend this hotel... very good value for money !

We really enjoyed staying in Tokyo Prince Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean (with a fantastic view on your "Eiffel Tower"!). The staff was extremely polite and helpful and the location is great for tourists.
The only criticism we could make is that the room service was quite slow. It's a nice hotel indeed except for the carpet in the corridors which is a little shabby.

The hotel is near Hamamutscho station which is very convenient if you are doing sunrise tours. It' free pick-up and drop-off at Tokyo Prince Hotel. Tokyo station is only 5 to 10 minutes ride by taxi especially if you are coming from Kyoto. Airport Limousine bus also stops directly at the doorstep of Tokyo Prince Hotel. And the hotel is near Roppongi and Ginza. If you dont know your way, its easy to call a taxi and it will cost you around 700 to 1000 yen from Roppongi/Ginza to your hotel. The hotel is also near to 2 subway stations (Onarimon and Daimon stations).

I was very pleased with the general condition of the hotel. I was especially impressed with the character and service of the staff. I think the carpeting in the room and halls could use replacement. Also, the wall paper needs to be pasted in some places.

Although the hotel's decor is somewhat dated, the location and amenities are great. The hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful at all times. Check-in/check-out was very quick and easy. Convenience store on the basement floor is great and keeps good hours. Barber on sight as well. The only negative was that there is a daily fee for internet usage. Parking was free and convenient as well. Overall a positive experience. The room decor is quite old and the carpets need updating, but overall it was a good room. The view was great. The room was quiet. And the housekeeping staff were very nice and responsive.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The convenience shop and resturants were well priced and good value for money. The room was very well presented, we had an excellent view of Tokyo Tower. We appreciated the extra darkening of the windows that were able to be slid across when you wanted to sleep

If you did not want your room cleaned, you were given a voucher for 1000Yen to spend in hotel shops or restaurants A good size room for Tokyo standards. A little dated, but very clean and extremely central.

This is a once grand, but old hotel that is showing its age. Though the rooms, hallways, restaurants and shops are more than acceptable, the expansive lobby needs much updating. Have been a guest at the hotel on many trips over the past 6 years, and it appears that neither lobby nor hotel exterior have been updated...particularly in need of new flooring, walls, brighter colors, and comfortable chairs or louncges...with backs. It seems that the focus has been on completing the new, separate and more upscale park tower.

The service was excellent- courteous, friendly & informative. The restaurants were O.K. but expensive. I had a very nice meal in the Japanese restaurant. A large,comfortable room with good facilities. The decor, however was a liitle shabby for the standard of hotel - stained carpets, faded upholstery
