It was a very convenient hotel to stay at especially because of its close distance to a main train station on a main line. Bed was bigger than i thought it might of been which was great, it was comfortable as well. Hotel staff are very welcoming and friendly and also speak good English.

Convenience, close to JR station but not noisy since it is locate at the back of a bit away from the most densely populated ares. But still very convenience hotel just a 2 minute walk to nearest JR station.

Good location as this hotel is just next to Shinjuku Toei line station exit. For metro subway lines, it's just less than 10 minutes walk to south exit of Shinjuku station. We took up the offer to upgrade our room from economy to a slightly bigger standard double room. The size of room though still small is alright for a couple with just one suit case. However for families or those with most luggage, do opt for the bigger rooms. Hotel facilities like vending machines located on most floors & a coin-operated laundry machine is a boom for travelers. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would definitely pick this hotel again should I re-visit the city.

Ideal location to explore Tokyo even for first time visitors. The hotel is only 5 minutes short walk from shinjukunstation, one of the 3 larger train station besides Tokyo station and Shibuya station. There is a 24 hours MacDoanlds just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Wired Internet connections free in the rooms. The airport limo bus also makes it's daily scheduled stop at the hotel which will take you to either Haneda or Narita airport.

This is my first time staying in Sunroute Plaza Hotel. The hotel is locate at one of the back street close to JA station just a couple of minutes to Shinjuku JA station. Since the hotel is behind the main street so it will not be too noisy especailly during night time. Since I am traveling with my wife and girl, we booked a 3-person room here. Comparing with other down town hotel with mini room size, Sunroute offer you spacial, comfort, clean and tidy room. Be environmental friendly, there is no toilet supply in the washroom. Guests are free to get the stuff at the corner of the hotel lobby. Although a bit inconvenience, personally I think it is good for both parties.

Location of hotel is excellent with eateries, JR station, main Shinjuku shopping belt, 24/7 convenience store nearby (just mins walking distance). Hotel staff were professional, helpful and speaks very good English. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next visit. Room is alittle small but the double room is ok for 2 adults.

This is my 2nd time staying at the Hotel. And no regrets. The location continues to be unmatched. About 5 mins away from Shinjuku station and close to Takashimya. The hotel rooms are clean and the beds and quits are very comfy. I am planning my 3rd trip to Tokyo and will definately stay at the hotel again.

The quality service from staff has improved over the period but the communication however still leaves room for improvement. Example, when I chk in, I was told to place a deposit via credit card which I understand is a common practice but I express that ultimately I like to pay in cash upon chk out. Later did I found out that the credit card was swiped already when I chk-out. Overall, I like the place and will still recommend to friends. Place is Clean, Convenient.

Great location of hotel-easy access to food and transport. Staff very courteous, helpful and speaks English. Hotel lobby very comfy. Security good too as lift acess by room keycard! Will certainly recomend this great hotel

We were upgraded to a bigger room. The room is nice and the size is reasonable for family of 3 like us. Thanks for that, Sunroute. We will definitely stay there if we go to tokyo again.

Hotel has excellent location. I stayed in both standard twin room (23.1sqm) and standard queen bed room (18.9sqm). I feel that the standard queen bed room is miserably small. I would rather pay a few more dollars to get the standard twin room. I was staying with my wife and 2 young children.

Good location and within minutes walk from Shinjuku station. Ideal if you are using Tokyo as a hub to visit other locations around Tokyo.

The hotel is situated at a very good location where food, shopping and train station is 5 mins away.

We stayed at the Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku for 6 nights. The rooms are small (we tried standard and economy rooms) but it was ok for 2 persons. The location of the hotel, however, is excellent. You just need to cross the road to get into the JR Shinjuku station, and since we are holding a JR pass, this really fits our purpose. The staffs are courteous and very helpful. There is free internet access, and the hotel is one of the airport limousine bus stop, you just need to book one day in advance and the bus will take you directly to the airport it will save you from all the hassle. Variety of foods available nearby, for emergency ampm is just across the street. The hotel also has its own vending machine (for drinks) in each floor.

Overall, the hotel is all about location. You cant expect much for the room but sure go for the location!

I am very happy with my stay at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku from 7 Aug to 12 Aug'09. The hotel staff is very helpful and courteous. The room is clean even though it is a bit smaller but it should be nice for singles or couples. The location of the hotel is very good and very convenient as Shinjuku Station is just located nearby which is about 10 to 15 minutes walk. It is convenient to travel from/to Narita Airport too by Narita Express which is direct from/to Shinjuku Station. There are lots of restaurant located nearby the hotel and there is a convenient shop and post office located opposite the hotel too. I will choose to stay at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku again for my next trip to Tokyo. I would recommend my friends to stay at this hotel too.

Value for money. Excellent location and excellent service. Late check out at 1pm which is helpful and airport bus picks and drops passengers right in front of the hotel. Will definitely go back again.
