Minato-ku - Minato-ku, Tokyo, is one of the city's 23 wards. It is home to the headquarters of some of Japan's largest corporations such as Sony, Honda, Toshiba and Fujitsu. It is also the choice location for most of the foreign embassies and foreign companies such as Aramark, Hanjin and Air China. One of the more prominent landmarks in Minato-ku is the Tokyo Tower, constructed to replicate the Eiffel Tower and has an observatory with a stunning view of the city. In the Odaiba district, you can find Tokyos' most happening entertainment areas, major shopping destinations, restaurants and cafes, and popular museums such as the Museum of Maritime Science.
In Takanawa, you'll find Minato-ku hotels that were built in the 1980s and are still popular. If you fancy a hot spring, head on to the Oedo Onsen Monogatari theme park. Minato-ku is also a great place to visit if you are keen on culture with various temples, samurai residences and shrines that are found in the Aoyama district.
